I am a drawer, painter, and sculptor currently living in Santa Ana, CA, and working part-time in Costa Mesa. I was originally self-taught, however I have been attending OCC as an art major for nearly three years and have been honing my skills thanks to the faculty and resources available at the college. I work in graphite, charcoal, oil paint, water-colour, clay, plaster, wood, and metal. Nearly all my work is portraiture or in some way showcases a human element.
I collect inspiration from everywhere and as well as all periods of time. There is greatness all around this world as well as in the people who inhabit it. Each person in unique in their own way and my work reflects this with each body I make. People are vastly complex with a well of emotions we continually keep guarded. I want to show if only just a shadow of this to the viewer in hopes that they will see it within themselves.
